  1. This movie is the biggest rip off of Bruce Brown around. The narration is horrible and the surfing is average at best. The only stylish surfer is Joel Tudor (of course), but the only good part is the end with the massive waves. They talked of Baja for about 5 minutes then the rest has to do with mainland mex. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

  2. For you gringos, that’s Endless Summer in Spanish. Get it? The DVD follows the same narration format, with a couple of surfers taking 3 months off to surf Mexico from Baja to Puerto Escondido (that’s Puerto not Porto, as the narrator pronounced it) making the trip in No. 2, an old Chevy Suburban.

The production was very entertaining with good surfing and an equally good story line in the places they stopped and the locals they met along the way.

    Definitely worth owning.

  3. I bought this to see Joel Tudor surf Puerto Escondido but there is a whole bunch of other great scenes too. There is a lot of fun medium sized surf, some real big surf and some dorks goofing off. All in all a great surf movie. If you like movies like the endless summer that are relaxed and fun then you will like this one. If you are looking for crazy ripping with fast punk music, look somewhere else. (I think half of the soundtrack must have been recorded in Mexico!)

  4. You will love this movie. It’s very similar to Endless Summer and a must see for anyone who has been or is thinking of going to Mexico to surf. Even if you don’t surf, there’s plenty in the movie to enjoy.

  5. This is a fun surf movie with awesome waves and great surfing. One of the few longboard movies that I keep coming back to.
