If you are a real skater and really know skating you know that this book is for those who know almost nothing about our sport. The book not only looks horrible (circa late 80's ugly post new wave design), there is alomst nothing to be gained from looking at the pictures or reading the 3rd grade level writing throughout. If people want to really know something important about REAL SKATEBOARDING they should go buy "DOGTOWN - The Legend of the Z-BOYS" That is the real skateboarder's BIBLE. The Concrete Wave book really is a piece of doo-doo. The history of skateboarding? hardly. Don't buy it, in fact if you own it, you may just want to recycle it.
