I am writing this review because my dog just chewed up my socks (literally 5 minutes ago) and I am so terribly upset, I had to come on the internet to find more. These are my favorite socks for skiing and just laying around the house in the winter time. The thickness of the sock is perfect and I love that it’s slightly thicker on the shin and around your ankle. When I go skiing, I don’t even need to wear any other socks but these. As you can imagine, it’s much easier to put a boot on and your toes can actually move within the boot (which also helps keep your feet warm). I love the arch support as well. What can I say, these were my favorite socks. I’ve had them since 2005 (4 years) and they were never torn, there were no holes, not even a lose string until my damn dog got a hold of them!! I MUST have more! When I originally bought these in a ski shop, there was only black. I am thrilled there are different colors. If you’re looking for a perfect ski sock, look no further.

I purchased various thickness of these socks for four members of our family for our ski trip. Every year my feet are cold so I decided to read up and invest. We skied in the coldest weather ever – one day it was 11 degrees. Guess what, no one ever complained their feet got cold. Buy these socks!! They wash great and will last for years. Also, I discussed the thickness issues with all the family members and my recommendation is the thinnest version; they are the most comfortable and the warmest (no layering necessary).
