Very good book. Covers a lot of ground and happens to address well my skill level (advanced). After reading it I can't wait to get on the slopes to try the recommended drills and described techniques.

This book presents a relatively simple approach to skiing that works in all conditions (with some modifications). I don't use it all the time, but there are times when it is useful to revert to ... It works without question.

The book is, I would say, in outdated format. Pictures are sober. Also, the text, kind of, repeats itself, without giving the clear hints that one would expect for skiing different types of snow conditions. Of course, you can learn some interesting techniques from such a book always, but I expected more from it.

This is the only really good book I've read on skiing. Is excellent in describing technique, equipment, conditions, tuning, etc. Highly recommended.

Do not agree with some of the "tools", especially "steering". Do not think that an intermediate skier (as myself) can benefit from the "tools" introduced in this book. I did learn something new in this book, though not much.
