Inception
After this film I can not imagine what Christopher Nolan will come up with next. I thought maybe he would begin sliding after his mind-boggling The Dark Knight, but Inception does not fall flat. It is incredibly fast paced as well as mind bending all the way through. So much action in different realities at the same time, I was solemnly worn out after it was all bygone.

The Matrix
The classic! This may always be one of my top five movies. I’ve seen it at least ten times and it never gets boring, it has such a smooth, cool feel to it. I find myself just looking up the fight scene among Neo and Morpheus on YouTube over and over again.

Star Wars (original trilogy)
Star Wars no doubt holds a memorable place in history with the sci-fi genre. I only have the original trilogy on here since I think those three movies really spent plenty of time bettering story and mood, special effects were not the main goal.

2001: A Space Odyssey
Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece where the computer (HAL) starts to take on human characteristics is one that will be around forever and will constantly be at the top of sci-fi lists, no matter how many competitors come along.

Blade Runner
And surely we get Blade Runner, Ridley Scott and Harrison Ford’s twisted vision of the future. 28 years later it is still a vision of what a real sci-fi film is all about.

Back to the Future
Not quite the same feel as the other movies on this list, but nonetheless sci-fi, and nonetheless one of my favorites of all time. After seeing this I truly wanted Michael J. Fox’s jacket, and I wanted to take up skateboarding. This film has 97% on Rottentomatoes.com, what jerk gave this film a bad rating?

Here are a quantity of of the favourites: Trysil Trysil is the most common senter for skiiing in Norway, and the biggest if you count the amount of pists and lifts. Oppdal Oppdal is close to E6(the highway through Norway), and is more or less 190 miles south of Trondheim. This is a place for you if you feel like to ride in the slopes, offpiste or truly desire to stagger on skiis. All the lifts are over 4 unlike mountaintopps. Many of the slopes are faced to the south – prefect for you if you’ll like a tan in the young summer.

Oppdal has 17 lifts and 39 pists. Hemsedal There are other places with more lifts and longer slopes, but Hemsedal is more compelte as soon as it comes to other offers aswell, like afterskii, entertainments and resturants. This makes Hemsedal to the generally complete skiplace in Norway. Hemsedal has 22 lifts and 39 pists. Stranda National Geographic supposed that the norwegian fjords are one of the finest places to travell to in the world. Close to the most admired “Geiranger fjorden” is one of the most magnificent mountains for downhill skiing in Norway. Are you one of those who likes offpist is Stranda the finest place north of the Alphs. Here the mountains are very steep, it is alot of snow and the view over the fjords are magical. But if you are one of those who likes it finest in the slopes or is gonna travel with your relatives, there would probably be better alternatives in Norway than Stranda. All skiers and snowboarders want the best ride possible. The difference waxing and tuning your skis can make to your day can be surprising. You’ll notice it even more when the conditions are far less than ideal such as icy conditions. A lot depends on where you live and tend to spend your time skiing or board riding. It’s super easy to get complacent and comfortable when we frequent the same places all the time. The following are some tuning and waxing tips to use on your skis.

Don’t start waxing your snowboards or skis when they are still cold, so let them warm up indoors for a couple of hours. You’ll get the best results no matter what you do when your gear is at normal room temperature. Unless you want bubbles to form at the base, for example, you shouldn’t wax your skis when they’re cold. It’s better to avoid this kind of problem and let your equipment warm up for a while. The wax iron you are using must be set to the proper temperature before you begin applying wax. The iron can’t be either too cold or too hot, as you can end up either with wax that hasn’t melted properly or wax that’s smoking.

Follow the advice of the manufacturer regarding the edge angle when edging your skis. If you’ve been doing this for a while, you can set this according to your own preferences. Yet if you aren’t sure about it, it’s a good idea to follow the manufacturer’s recommendation. The edge angle will usually vary from between one and three degrees.
